Techniques for Eye Makeup
Asians love makeup. They are constantly looking for ways to look beautiful. For older women, makeup is used for
them to look and feel younger. For the younger ones, makeup is used to hide insecurities, to boost confidence and
to allure people among many other reasons. What makes celebrities and ordinary people alike look more beautiful is
the makeup they wear. Having said this, an Asian woman should then learn the art of makeup and other eye makeup
application techniques.
Working On The Eyebrows
• The length of a perfect eyebrow should be measured by placing a pencil or a brush from the tear duct to the
nose (where the brow will start) and from the outer eye crease to the nose (where the brow will end).
• Remove stray hairs to create the perfect arch. Fill the brow with an eye pencil to create even perfect
eyebrows.
• When choosing a color for the brows, choose something that is one shade lighter.
Working On The Eyes
• When applying eye shadow, first, you should begin with a base coat. The color should be of medium shade.
• Blend colors. This is what does the trick. When you learn how to blend colors well, you will do magic on the
overall look of the eyes.
• If you want to make your eyes look bigger, there are Asian eye makeup techniques that you can follow. One is
by applying heavy eye liner and using darker shades of eye shadows.
There are Asian eye makeup techniques for Asian women to be able to enhance the beauty of their faces and
develop the beauty that they already have.
• For Those With Wide Eyes- Mixtures and blends of colors should be used for people with wide eyes. Whether you
want it to look smaller or bigger, it depends on you. If you want to make it appear smaller, you may use an eye
liner applied at the bottom of the eye, down to the lash line. If you want it to appear wider, do not line the
underneath of the eye. Instead, apply a shimmering shade on the corners of the eyes.
• For Those with Hooded Eyes- If you want to make your eyes look bigger, you can do so by starting with a light
eye shadow from the lid to the brow. When you are done, apply a darker shade on the lid. You may choose to blend
the 2 colors for a natural combination. You may use eye liner to make the eyes look even bigger.
Working On The Lashes
• Keep your lashes curled to create a more appealing look. Especially when applying mascara, lashes should be
curled first.
• When applying mascara, do not overdo it. Mascara is used to accentuate the eyes. Avoid a heavy mascara so as
not to create an odd look.
Learning the different eye makeup application techniques is important. Asians have a wide range of skin tones
and love applying makeup which makes them even more beautiful. Unfortunately, not all Asians maximize the beauty
that they have when in fact, their brand of beauty is incredibly gorgeous and exotic by any standard.
